| Playing and Coaching Profile |
I have been a part of the SCGS Boys Tennis Team, playing in the QLD School's Tennis Championships in Rockhampton, in which our team were the runners up of the State wide tournament. I have also taken part in a number of other State competitions, including the QLD Head State age tournament held in Rockhampton in 2009, as well as the Bundaberg Age Championships in which I made the finals in the U/16's boys age division, also in 2009. I have played in various A1 competitions held at Zoran's Tennis Academy and have competed in Junior Masters tournaments held all over QLD, playing in the U/17 Boys division with great results. I have also had great success playing tennis in other States such as Victoria where I participated in the Selby Tennis Club Championships and was awarded 'best boy'. I have been coached for many years now and have also been selected to participate in a number of high performance tennis clinics including the Pat Cash Tennis Academy. I have also recently began my own coaching sessions, working as an assistant coach to a PDHPE teacher, I have mostly been modelling and demonstrating the correct skill execution and technique of tennis to younger less experienced players. |
