| Biography |
As a junior I played for the McDonalds and Shell Tennis Squads, both in local and inter-state tournaments. I played local junior competitions in a team and managed to eventually reach the Grade 1 Pennant competition by the age of 15. As a senior, I played State Grade tennis and travelled and played on the WTA tour in Europe. In 2003 I won the women's division at the Australian corporate games held at Melbourne park.
I have been involved in the sport of tennis particularly in the coaching side of the sport since I was 17, when I began my first coaching role at many of my local tennis clubs, (Taylors Lakes, Tullumarine Indoor, Williamstown, Glenroy Tennis Clubs.) In Europe I coached juniors in Novi Sad and Red Star Tennis Clubs in Serbia. I also have experience coaching Autistic as well as deaf students. I received my coaching certificate over in Serbia in 1995 and since then have been eager to continue in my coaching endeavours and to work with new and enthusiastic players. |
