I have played competitive junior tennis in both New South Wales and Queensland up until the age of 16 years, competing in the NSW Junior Championships in Gosford and the Queensland Junior Championships in Rockhampton. For the time being I have stopped junior and senior competition, however, I still continue to play in strong local men's social tennis competitions, I have been playing in this on-going competition for the last 12 months now and am still being challenged to improve my game. In regards to coaching experience, I have worked with my tennis coach, Paul Denning at Alstonville Tennis Club, assisting him run school holiday tennis camps. I have been trained in basic coaching, umpiring and running of the tournaments. During my time working I have mostly been coaching younger children between the ages of 5-13. These experiences have acted as good building blocks from which I can now improve my coaching upon. |
