I have been playing tennis in the 'A' grade standard of competition at the Mackay Tennis Association, for over 5 years now. I was also selected to represent my local tennis town, Mackay for 6 years at various regional and State competitions. My repeated success ensured I was asked to represent North Queensland, which I did so for another 6 years, I also played for the QLD State team for 3 years, playing in National tournaments against other states across Australia.
I have had considerable coaching experience working under Allan Harris, at his Tennis School, teaching junior players between the ages of 5 and 10 the basics of tennis, whilst also ensuring their safety and that they are having a good time. I was in this job for around 3 years working around 2-3 hours per week, usually on a weekend. |
