Up until 2006 I had been playing 'A' grade competitions and tournaments throughout Victoria and NSW. Throughout my playing career I have been coached by various different coaches in Melbourne and have attended the Melbourne Park Tennis Academy, where I was located for a year. At the end of 2006 I played tennis professionally in Germany, as I was under contract with the 'Tennis Verein Reuttingen' team in Sttutgart. I played 2 seasons in Oberliga and played in the Futures and Satellite tournaments. During my professional career I received coaching from 3 coaches, however, my main coach was Torsten Reidel, one of the top elite coaches in Germany.
I have been coaching now since the beginning of 2007, at West Brunswick Tennis Club and at other local tennis clubs in the associated area. I have also conducted coaching for a little while in Germany and Greece, coaching international players, which was a great opportunity for me, I was able to effectively do this because I am able to speak 4 different languages. |
