The Opportunity
This is a profitable and unique opportunity for any engaging, motivated and professional organisation or individual wishing to expand upon their existing tennis business interests. In this custodian role and with the full support of ATPCA’s National team, you will be representing and advocating the ATPCA, its courses & coach membership benefits in your chosen City/Region.
Interested organisations or individuals should possess a reputable background in the tennis industry and have strong ties with local tennis networks; they should also possess a passion for coach education, training and development.
Background of ATPCA
ATPCA Training Provider Essential Criteria
Interested providers must complete and submit the ‘ATPCA Training Provider EOI Application’ (link below).
The approved provider or their designated course presenter (if the provider is not the presenter) must attend and complete the ATPCA Graduate and Advanced Tennis Pro Presenter Training Courses.
The approved provider or their designated course presenter (if the provider is not the presenter) must deliver all ATPCA Coach Accreditation Courses as per the ATPCA Graduate and Advanced Tennis Pro ‘Course Delivery Manuals’ (provided to you by ATPCA National Office) and as presented to you during the ATPCA Presenter Training Course.
The approved provider and their designated course presenter (if the provider is not the presenter) must complete a face to face or video call meeting with the ATPCA Committee representatives, in your chosen City/Region prior to formal appointment.
The approved provider and their designated course presenter (if the provider is not the presenter) must be or become a financial coach member of the ATPCA.
The approved provider and their designated course presenter (if the provider is not the presenter) must have a minimum accreditation of an ATPCA Advanced Tennis Pro or TA Club Professional equivalent accreditation or be prepared to attain such accreditation before appointment.
The approved provider must have a strong network between other coaches, clubs, associations with in the tennis community and be able to demonstrate this.
The approved provider must actively promote the ATPCA, its coach membership and their upcoming courses through their network channels and be able to demonstrate how you will do this.
The approved provider must currently be running their own tennis business/centre with a minimum of 3 other coaching staff/contractors who deliver a total of 50 or more coaching hours between them per week and be able to demonstrate this.
For a maximum of 19 days per year, the approved provider must have access to a minimum of 2 courts and an indoor room/space, within a 10km radius of a major CBD or equivalent for ATPCA course delivery. Please note: The court venue does need to be directly leased, owned or operated by you.
