Recognised Prior Learning (RPL) is available for the already qualified and/or experienced tennis professional seeking to obtain an ATPCA Graduate Tennis Pro &/or Advanced Tennis Pro Qualification, without having to complete an on-court training course. There are two RPL pathways through the ATPCA;

The first RPL pathway (known as a “RPL Qualification Transfer”) is for tennis coaches who have previously obtained certification (minimum of a Junior Development) through either Tennis Australia (TA), Tennis Coaches Australia (TCA) or the International Tennis Federation (ITF). For those coaches, a qualification transfer to the ATPCA equivalent accreditation will be arranged and exempt from having to pay any RPL assessment fee. If your situation falls under the RPL qualification transfer pathway and you would like to receive an ATPCA equivalent level of accreditation, simply APPLY NOW.

The second RPL pathway (known as “RPL Video Submission”) is for experienced tennis professionals who do not possess a professional coaching certification (minimum of a Junior Development) from either TA, TCA or the ITF. For those experienced coaches, who choose not to undertake one of ATPCA on-court Coach Training Courses, an RPL video submission is required to be lodged for assessment by the ATPCA RPL Assessment Committee. If your situation falls under the RPL video submission pathway, simply APPLY NOW.

* Please refer to the below ‘RPL Eligibility & Submission Requirements’ for the Graduate and Advanced Tennis Pro Qualifications to determine your ability to proceed with an application for accreditation via RPL video submission.
